Concentrates - Compared

There are a variety of products on the market for use in automated misting systems.  We offer three different types of products: Pyrethrum based, Permethrin based, and plant oil based. recommend two different types of concentrates based on the application needs and environmental concerns related to the specific system you have.

Pyrethrum based products

Pyrethrum based products are bade from a special chrysanthemum called Chrysanthemum  cinerariaefolium.  Visit our shop to view the current Pyrethrum based we currently offer.

IMPORTANT - Pyrethrum based products  SHOULD NOT BE USED NEAR OR AROUND AQUATIC LIFE.  Pyrethrum is very toxic to fish and other aquatic life, so care in application is stressed.   If your application is near any aquatic life, we recommend you consider using our non-pyrethrum products made from plant oils.

Permethrin based products

Permethrin is a man made product often found in flea collars and flea dips used for dogs.  It is a lower cost alternative to Pyrethrum. Visit our shop to view the current Permethrin based product we offer.

IMPORTANT -  Permethrin based products SHOULD NOT BE USED NEAR OR AROUND AQUATIC LIFE.  Pyrethrum is very toxic to fish and other aquatic life, so care in application is stressed.   If your application is near any aquatic life, we recommend you consider using our non-pyrethrum products made from plant oils. Permethrin is also TOXIC TO CATS, if you are aware of cats frequenting your property we recommend choosing either a Pyrethrum based or plant oil based product.

Plant oil based products

We offer two types of plant oil based products, both from the same manufacturer. These products require an additional component called adjuvant to help keep the oils in suspension.  It is also recommended that these products be used with an agitator.  Both products have not been found to be detrimental to aquatic life, however, only EcoExempt MC is specifically labeled as safe around aquatic life.  Visit our shop to view the ExoExempt products.

IMPORTANT -  Plant oil based products SHOULD NOT BE USED IN THE TANKLESS SYSTEM.  The tankless system is has many components that can be compromised by the oil collecting inside the unit. NEAR OR AROUND AQUATIC LIFE.
