PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION

In the St. Louis, MO Metro Area.

Installing a Mosquito Mist Away system™ can be accomplished within a day or two depending on the overall size of the system.  Installation takes an average 10 to 15 minutes per nozzle.

TOOLS: ladder, screwdriver, pliers, drill, tube cutter.

RESERVOIR SETUP:  The reservoir must be placed on level and stable ground convenient to a grounded power source.   It can be installed outside or inside a garage, shed, or basement.

It is VERY important that you make sure the ground on which the reservoir will be located is level and will remain that way under the weight of the filled reservoir and under inclement weather conditions.    The reservoir will be heavy when filled with the diluted misting concentrate.   Failure to follow these instructions may result in personal injury or damage to the system.

TUBING AND NOZZLE INSTALLATION:  Once the reservoir has been installed, the tubing lines can be run to the identified nozzle locations.   We recommend the nozzles be installed 12-15 feet apart for the boundary area and 10 feet apart in and around your designated inner-areas.

Click here for detailed instructions on installing tubing and nozzles.

TESTING YOUR SYSTEM:  The system should be tested prior to loading misting concentrates, to ensure there are no leaks and that all nozzles and valves are operating properly.   To test the system, remove the large white cap on the top of the system.  Do not remove the system lid.

Using a hose, fill the reservoir ¼ full with water.  Replace the cap and manually press the on button.   Check to see that all nozzles are misting, all valves are working, and inspect each tubing connection for leaks.  If problems are found, turn off the system and correct.  Repeat the testing process until you are satisfied the system is operating properly.

LOADING THE MISTING CONCENTRATES:  After verifying the system is operating properly, the misting concentrate and water can be loaded into the reservoir.  Remove the large white cap from the top of the system.  Do not remove the system lid.

Using a hose, fill the drum half way with water.  Before loading the concentrates put on safety goggles and gloves.  When reservoir is half full, remove hose and place a funnel into the opening.  Slowly pour in a manufacturer approved misting concentrate into the funnel.  Remove funnel.  Replace hose into the opening and begin filling with water until the liquid level reaches just below the top or the system reads 100% full.

SETTING THE TIMER Set the timer per manufacturer’s instructions.

INITIAL OPERATIONPlease be advised, that a large number of insects may be seen on the ground for the first week as the overall insect population is reduced by your new system.
