Wind Sensor
The Wind Sensor for the Gen III and the 1.3 helps protect drift during windy days by preventing the system from spraying. This is important since misting during windy times does not properly distribute the mist in the targeted areas and it prevents the concentrate from drifting into areas outside the boundary, such as ponds, adjoining yards, etc.

The sensor averages the winds speed before a scheduled Auto mist. If the speed is greater than the threshold set then the system goes into suspense mode. If the average wind speed continues to be above the threshold set for five minutes then the system skips that mist cycle. The threshold is programmed by you and it can be programmed as low as winds at 1 mph. The sensor will only suspend scheduled mists, not mists triggered by the remote.
